Its founder, Christophe Taramarcaz from Valais, first spent 25 years designing machines for the watchmaking industry before working on this new production paradigm. He explains:
"During all these years, I realized that the trend was towards a technological race, with machines that were expensive to develop and maintain. I created Horosys in the spirit of being able to bring automation in a general way, but rather for people who make small volumes of production and who today can't find anyone on the market to develop special, flexible and reliable machines, adapted to their budget."
